This class is for both the beginning and experienced Interim Minister. It provides a framework and a complete understanding of what the work of an Interim Minister is. It is interactive, hands-on, and highly practical.

• Understand the top 10 things you need to focus on to to be successful in your assignment.

• Uncover the potential traps and pitfalls of serving as an Interim Minister, and how to successfully navigate them.

• Explore the optimal sequence of activities for moving a community through healing, regrouping, and readiness to move forward.

• Find out how to determine when the work is complete and how to bring graceful closure when the time comes.

• Get practical tools, including ready-to-use processes, for serving communities that are moving through transition.

About Rev. Gregory Toole

Gregory Toole is Spiritual Director of Somseva whose mission is to inspire authentic, compassionate relationships through spiritual education, tools, and practice that promote peacemaking and conscious action.

He is an ordained minister with Centers for Spiritual Living, whose vision is revealing a world that works for everyone.

While at the Home Office of Centers for Spiritual Living, Gregory spearheaded the effort to create the Interim Ministry handbook and program. This was after supporting many communities in transition and seeing the importance of doing transitions in a really healthy way. Since leaving Home Office he has worked with many more spiritual communities in various phases of transition, and has served four of those communities in the capacity of Interim Minister. Gregory is passionate about the value and potential of Interim Ministers and wants to share that with YOU.
